it might not be homey but its holding my stuff

With only a few more weeks until we officially move into our apartment we got a storage unit to hold everything. Right now its just holding bridal shower gifts, our awesome bed, and Harry Potter paraphernalia. Jared tried to decorate with our Harry Potter stuff because he is so excited about it. One trip to the storage unit resulted in the following conversation:

Jenni: "You should just live in here"
Jared: "Yeah...I think thats illegal though."


Okay so not my best idea but there's a bed and food. So it would technically work. Who needs indoor plumbing or a light?
We are just so grateful for all the gifts that are starting to fill it up. And we're excited to move in on the 11th. Well...I get to move in then. But eventually it will be great to have a roommate that I chose instead of crazy, annoying girls. (cough doniell cough)

growing up is expensive

Today Jared and I decided to do a little "browsing" around the furniture stores. In all of our price checking we ended up purchasing a sofa and love seat, a mattress set/bed frame, a sound bar, and a couple of pillows. Of course we also had to get a storage unit since we can't move into our apartment for a month. Luckily we both have the same taste and we're very good bargain shoppers. Now that we have a few more things I can't wait to get it all set up and see how it looks. Maybe I can do this whole decorating thing after all.
